You may obtain Putty from:
http://www.tucows.com or http://www.putty.nl
To get started open the program Putty 0.51
or newer and;
-Select Session
-Set Host Name to; "YOur IP Address"
-Check SSH
-Saved Session = "Type your websites name"
-Uncheck "Close Window on Exit"
-On the left side of Putty select the "SSH" under the
"Connection" Folder
-Check "Preferred protocol version 2"
-On the left of Putty select the "Session"
-Click "Save" to save this configuration in Putty.
-Click the "Open Button" at bottom of Putty.
-At the prompt "Login as:" enter your website user name (CaSe
SenSiTiVe)
-Press your enter key
-At the prompt "password:" Enter you
password (CaSe SenSiTiVe)
-You may begin working at prompt $
